EMC EVENTS GREELY

March 6: CPR/AED training will be offered by Ottawa Paramedic Services together with Ottawa Public Health and Ottawa Fire Services at the Greely Community Centre from 9-1 p.m.. The course is free. Participants will learn how to perform CPR on an adult, child and infant as well as how to use the automated external defibrillator (AED). March 17: Greely Legion 8021 Mitch Owens Rd. St. Paddy's Irish House Party with Kings Creek, step dancers and other Irish entertainers 2 p.m. to closing. Hot Irish Stew dinner available.

February 12: Lasagna dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Trinity United Church, Main St., Kars.

February 14: Family skating 12-4 with a pasta lunch and puppet show. Admission at the door.

KEMPTVILLE

Tuesdays: The Kemptville Fire Pipes and Drums Band is looking for pipers and drummers. Practices are held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the fire station at 259 County Road 44. Beginner pipers and drummers are also invited. Practice for beginners starts at 6:30 p.m., every Tuesday as well. Band will help with mileage for those traveling a distance to Kemptville.
