Work continues on Manotick pump station

Tweet ThisEMC News - Although the Manotick Pump Station is not currently ready for operation, it will be by the end of the year, according to Rideau-Goulbourn Coun. Glenn Brooks.
“The rumour was (the pump station) wouldn’t be ready until 2011,” he said, adding that he has confirmed with the city’s project manager, Luc Marineau, that the pumping station is scheduled to be complete by this fall.
Once the pump station is operational, public notices will be distributed to advise residents as to who can connect to the municipal servicing and when they may begin.
